Baby Breakfast Bites

We are constantly on the look out for breakfast ideas as M gets bored with toast or crumpets and won’t let me spoon-feed her any type of cereal or porridge at the moment.

These Breakfast Bites were a hit!

We used the Rafferty’s Garden recipe from the webpage (below) as a guide and made it our own (see bottom of page for our version):

Rafferty’s Garden Pear & Superberries Pouch

½ cup almond meal

½ cup defrosted frozen raspberries

1 tbsp (10g) melted coconut oil

1 cup desiccated coconut

Optional: Frozen blueberries or any other fresh fruit cut into small slices

Age: Suitable for babies aged 12+ months.

OUR VERSION: (We made a smaller quantity and used):

Rafferty’s Garden Multigrain banana & apricot cereal

1/3-1/2 pouch Rafferty’s Garden fruit (any flavour you like)

2 tsp coconut oil (melted)

A Few pieces of freeze dried fruit

1 tbsp flaxseed meal

A few tablespoons chia, oats & coconut mix – (add until desired consistency reached)

Method: Blitz.  Roll tiny balls in chia, oats, coconut mix and set in fridge.

My advice would be to make them really small (or baby-bite sized) as Maddison enjoyed shoving the whole thing in her mouth at once haha.

YUM!
